I was blind, but now I see

Yeshu heals a blind man.

At one time my wife was suffering immense pain and a life threatening condition related to her pregnancy. She believed that God could hear prayers. We were given little hope from the surgical team as we together faced this crisis. At her request, I sent messages to her family and friends to pray to Yeshu. At the time I didn’t believe in the power of prayer or Yeshu but that day I discovered God’s compassion. Yeshu longs to restore broken people. Whether our brokenness is physical or emotional, he stretches out his hand of healing to us.

See the compassion of Yeshu as he heals a man who was blind since birth. The religious leaders at the time of Yeshu did not believe in him as he challenged their traditional beliefs. Watch how the religious leaders reacted as they are confronted by this miracle.

The prayers to Yeshu of my wife and her family and friends were answered. We now know it was truly a miracle from a compassionate God who loves us. This event opened up a new world for me where I could see clearly the God who loves me and even gave himself for me.

Just like this blind man I could now say … “I was blind but now I see.” God was no longer a distant deity but a truly loving and close friend. In contrast, the religious leaders at the time of Yeshu rejected Yeshu. Despite all the clear evidence that the man was healed, they refused to accept it. Because their hearts were hardened, they remained blind. The key to truth is humility.
