The disciples' journey from despair to hope

Yeshu breaking bread at the Last Supper

Many of the devotees of Yeshu were professional fishermen. That was the only life they knew. As they learned more about who he really was, their lives filled with hope and excitement. The miracles and learning the teachings of Satguru Yeshu had turned their life around. But when Yeshu was accused by the religious leaders and then killed on the cross by the Romans, all their hope turned to fear, sadness and despair.

We saw what happened to Mary Magdalene when she discovered that Yeshu’s tomb was empty. She was the first to see Yeshu alive after his resurrection. This moment turned her sadness and despair to joy.

Now see what happens when Yeshu appears to his closest devotees.

The first time I read about Yeshu’s death on the cross, I was disappointed and sad. I thought that was the end of the story. But when I read about his resurrection, just like his devotees, I was filled with hope and joy.

I finally understood that Yeshu’s death was not the end, but the beginning of a new life for me. This gave me assurance that my life has a purpose and that I have a hope for the future.

You can pray this prayer to receive Yeshu as your Lord and Saviour right now and he will hear you …

Yeshu, I believe that you died for my sins and that you rose again from the dead. I wish for you to come into my life and be my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for giving me hope and assurance of eternal life.

If you prayed this prayer, please let us know so we can help you take the next steps in your journey of faith.

Who would die for a lie?

Lee Strobel, had studied law and journalism and was the legal editor of a prestigious newspaper. He thought that all gods were a myth and untrue. As an atheist, he thought that if he could prove that Yeshu did not rise from the dead, then he could show that the Christian faith is a hoax. I would agree with him !

He used his training to research the evidence and interviewed many experts in the field of history, archaeology and theology. He discovered that there was overwhelming evidence for Yeshu’s resurrection. Probably the most convincing evidence was that most of the first devotees of Yeshu were persecuted and even died telling others that Yeshu has risen from the dead. They had seen him die, lost hope, and then claimed they saw him alive again. They of all people knew if this was true or not. They had nothing to gain and everything to lose if it was untrue.

Lee Strobel was shocked by the compelling fact that “no one would die for a lie”. Lee had set out to prove that Yeshu had not risen back to life but eventually had to face this truth. He became a devotee of Yeshu.

You can read Lee’s fascinating story in his book “The Case for Christ”. I you know English, you can also look for this movie on YouTube.
